We really enjoyed dining on the dock over the water. The staff was so attentive and friendly! It felt as if you were dining on a Yacht out to sea. There is so many wonderful choices on the menu along with the specials offered. We enjoyed a nice Italian wine with our 3 course dinner. The fish was so fresh and well prepared. my husband had the conch chowder that was out of this world and tuna tartare was amazing. we look forward to having another fine dining experience on our return to cayman next year!!!

This restaurant has great food, great ambiance and wonderful personnel. Everyone from "The Captain and his wife" to the servers take excellent care of you. Request a table out on the dock. If it is windy ask your server for a shawl. For the ladies, they sell beautiful island jewelry..

We thought we'd skip the Lighthouse as it seemed silly to eat Italian food in the Caribbean, but after a week of fish we were ready for a change! Be sure and reserve and request to be out on the dock- beautiful setting. Food was very good, but the location definitely made the difference.

You must try their Lighthouse Pizza so yummy! It has smoked salmon and goat cheese, couple it with a glass of wine and caesar salad. Fabulous location with dining over the ocean.

The Lighthouse is one of our favourite Cayman restaurants. This trip it was for Sunday brunch for the family. There is something for everyone's taste, great salads, pizza, pasta, hot dishes including some seriously good pork ribs and a perfectly cooked beef roast. Servive was friendly and efficient as always. It isn't cheap - nothing on Grand Cayman is - but the Lighthouse maintains a very high standard.

The lighthouse restaurant sits in a beautiful oceanfront location near Boddentown. The decor is very nice and on the day I was there the windows were open and very nice breeze was blowing through the dining area. I did see outdoor dock seating, but on this particular day there was no one seated outside. I ordered a pizza with italian sausage, onions, and green peppers. It was advertised as wood fired and the flavor and crust were very good, particularly the flavor of the sausage. My dining companion ordered the daily special which consisted of penne pasta with a marinara sauce that was described as very flavorful. I would definitely go back to this restaurant again.

This was simply one of the best meals we ate during our week on Grand Cayman - the pasta was flavorful and great on its own, and it was all the more delicious with fresh local seafood. But what really made the meal was the ambience. Sitting outside, listening to the powerful south shore waves crash against the rocks below you, while you're having an excellent Italian seafood meal on a pier, jutting out into the ocean ... a magnificent experience.

We stopped here on recommendation of some repeat visitors to the island. We were not disappointed. We had our dinner on the pier. There is much to be said about enjoying a lobster dinner over the ocean with the sun setting and the waves rolling in. We were able to have a pleasant conversation while we waited for our appetizers and meal. We watched a couple of needle fish swim around and enjoyed the ocean breeze. My girlfriend was probably thinking to herself how amazing I was for picking such an awesome place for dinner. The service was very prompt and the lobster, prawns and tuna were AMAZING. We finished the evening off with a cappuccino and desert.

We stopped at the Lighthouse for a late lunch and were delighted. Four of us shared two salads and two pizzas. The Captain G's Pizza with prosciutto and arugula was super. I can readily imagine this place getting busy and the service suffering, but if you hit it right as we did, it is a lovely restaurant with moderate prices (for Cayman at least.)

When we arrived on the island, after getting our rental car and heading to the east end to stay at the Reef resort, we discovered this restaurant. We stopped in for a late lunch. It has a great view and the food was very good. Service was good as well. It was almost the time that they close for the afternoon before reopening for dinner service later, so we were lucky to get in and served when we did. We will definitely be going back there next year.

Very delightful dinning experience, atmosphere is very nice especially if you eat out on the deck over the breakers. Had the swordfish which was cooked to perfection. Servers were friendly and attentive.

The "Taste of Italy" special was delicious and just the right amount of food. Wait staff was very friendly and delivered our food at appropriate times. The scenery is breath-taking. We highly recommend this restaurant.

As one of Grand Cayman's longest standing establishments, the Lighthouse gives a quaint but truly local environment blended with first class service and fantastic quality food. The original dock was my favorite but the newly build dock/deck area is still one of the treasures hidden off of the beaten track of seven mile beach. Capt G and his long standing staff make sure that every experience is as wonderful as the last. An amazing wine list and unbelievable sunsets. Their Calamari appetizer is very unique and a welcome pair to their signature mojitos (sometimes I even drive up with my wife just for these two items). For the best seating (on the dock/deck) I recommend calling ahead of time as this is very popular on the weekends.

Wonderful dinner with a ocean view that can't be beat. Service by Martin, Courtney and another man (didn't catch his name) made it extra special. Started with a fresh strawberry/raspberry mojito- refreshing! We had the ny strip steak, prawns and wood fire pizza for dinner. Yum! Steak one of the best I tasted! Best part dessert. They surprised me with a special birthday dessert and we ended with a bowl full of beignets (strawberry and chocolate sauce so delicious). Nice jewlery for sale and indoor ambience too.

Our lodging staff recommended this location and we received a modest discount for mentioning where we were staying (Turtle Nest Inn). I'm not one to get extravagant when I dine but even with the price I paid for our evening's meal, my wife and I agreed it was one of the best evenings we've ever enjoyed in 30+ years of marriage. Staff was attentive, the table location (on a short pier over the water) enhanced the experience as the surf crashed beneath us, and the food and beverage was outstanding. Again, may not pay for many meals like this but at least we got what we paid for and I can't say that at many of the up-scale places we've been to.

We have been to The Lighthouse numerous times times. We have never had a bad meal. Service is impeccable. They set the bar for everyone else. My husband and I went earlier in the week. We went back after the kids and their SO arrived. We were a little hesitant to say it was good, as a couple other of our usual places were coming up short. However everyone was exceptionally pleased with their choices in dinner. The pizza to steak and lobster was good from the first to last bite. Service was very attentive from the second we walked in until we left. Prices were on par with the island perhaps a bit less than many. Deck in back was lovely as usual. If I had to list one negative comment I would have to think long and hard. I can not think of even one single thing to nitpick. We were one happy family when we left. Will definitely return.

Stopped for lunch one day and enjoyed a gorgeous meal whilst enjoying the fabulous scenery. All the staff were extremely pleasant and attentive although it was a bit on the pricey side considering the competition in the area. Still worth a visit.

Even though it is a bit of a drive outside of Georgetown, the drive is well worth, even if it's just for the restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, was perfectly cooked. I'm a bit picky when it comes to food and enjoyed it thoroughly, my mother being somewhat more adventurous in the food. In her own words the food she got was the "best lasagna she has ever had". Can't fault it at all, portion sizes were good, and the quality of the food was amazing. The service was exemplary, and was not left wanting for anything. The view is gorgeous as well, was a lovely sunny day with an even nicer breeze so was a perfect way to spend an afternoon. Price wise it's about on average with most restaurants on the Island, so when you combine the price with the service and food, it is just a really good restaurant and a nice afternoon to spend

Everything about this place as fantastic: The setting, the service, the food. The little pier that juts out over the rocky beach was perfect. And there was a bright, full moon for us to boot, so it was especially beautiful. The staff was super attentive and friendly and we had one of the best seafood meals we've ever had, perhaps even better than some we've had IN Italy. I cannot rate this place highly enough.

Decided to have dinner at The Lighthouse with my husband. Made reservations for the outside pier overlooking the ocean. We were seated outside, the sun was setting. I noticed a table available at the end of the pier and kindly asked if we could be moved. We were originally told no then to our surprise the maître d’ approached us and found a way we could have the table we requested. The view was breathtaking. After sunset the moon and stars were over head and the waves could be heard crashing all around. Service is the best we have experienced on the island. The staff is very attentive and detailed oriented. .we started with the bread basket, worth the $6. We had the Italian anti pasta appetizer, it was very enjoyable and the presentation was very appealing. My husband ordered the lasagna. It was extremely HOT, but sooo good! I helped him finish it. I ordered the lamb chops, the vegetables were extremely fresh and the lamb chops were meaty and enjoyed. Let me get to the desert! There was nothing in the menu that i didn’t want for desert. I will be back for dessert alone! Husband ordered the Apple crumb cake, amazing! I had the chocolate mouse, it was so rich i couldn’t finish... but really wanted to.

This place lived up to the reviews! We both ate the Lobster Tail with Ravioli. It was divine. Huge lobster tail. Perfect portion. They also served us bruschetta and a bread with balsamic and oil to start with. For dessert we had the Toffee Pudding at the recommendation of the server. It didn’t disappoint.

We ate at the Lighthouse kind of on a whim, simply because we’d driven by it a few times on our way from Rum Point to Georgetown and back during our stay—they did not disappoint! The service was phenomenal, and the food was fantastic as well. Dessert especially was a cut above—we ordered the beingets and they were amazing! The view and atmosphere of the restaurant were both spectacular too; we were sat right next to the window so we could see the waves breaking on the beach, which was cool! We definitely recommend eating here!
